Centenary of the Outbreak of
THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918

A number of Memorials exist in the Village, commemorating the names of Little Baddow residents and their families

who served, and sadly some of who fell, in The Great War 1914 -1918.

To mark the Centennial Anniversary in three years time, the Little Baddow Family History Group wishes to hear from anyone with copies of photographs of their military, individuals, letters, postcards, documents, papers, etc., relating to their families in the Village during the War. If sufficient information becomes available, it is hoped that a local display remembering that period may be possible in the second half of 2014.

People with items of interest, and happy to share these with us, are invited to contact any member of the
Little Baddow Family History Group, including Alan Ridgway at Styal, The Ridge, Little Baddow,
 01245 222394, or
alan.f.l.ridgway@btinternet.com  Thank You.
